Behind the era (BTE)
- For mild to particularly severe hearing disorders
- Larger device size in two segments
- All parts are placed inside the device
- The device is placed behind the ear and a mold is placed inside the ear canal
- It may be slightly visible depending on the color of the device and the color of the mold
In the canal (ITC)
- For mild to moderately severe hearing disorders
- Small device size
- All components are contained within a shell within the user's ear
- It is placed inside the ear canal
- Barely visible in the ear
In the Ear (ITE)
- For mild to severe hearing disorders
- Larger device size
- All components are contained within a shell within the user's ear
- It is placed outside the ear canal
- Visible inside the ear
Completely in canal (CIC)
- For mild to moderately severe hearing disorders
- Very small device size
- All components are contained within a shell within the user's ear
- It is placed inside the ear canal
- Minimally visible or completely invisible inside the ear canal (depending on each user's ear canal)
Invisible in canal (IIC)
- For mild to moderately severe hearing disorders
- Very small device size
- All components are contained within a shell within the user's ear
- It is placed inside the ear canal
- Completely invisible inside the ear canal (depending on each user's ear canal)
Receiver in canal (RIC)
- For mild to particularly severe hearing disorders
- Larger device size in two segments
- All parts are placed inside the device except the loudspeaker which goes inside the ear canal
- May be slightly visible depending on the color of the device
- Its advantage over the other models is that it usually comes in with an open fit, that is, we don't need to plug the ear canal
